Behavioral Health Integration Measurement Project Update
This three year, MeHAF funded project is choosing measures of value and outcome that will be publically reported to help consumers, providers and payers better understand the impact of integrating the provision of physical and mental/behavioral health services. Efforts are being made to ensure the chosen measures are aligned with work going on elsewhere in the country. Piloting of measure collection will begin this fall.
The Core Advisory group met June 16th
to plan for the overall operations of the project and outline anticipated challenges. Future meetings are scheduled for Aug18th, Oct 20th and Dec 15th at 2-4pm. The Measures workgroup met June 29th to review measure objectives and identify possible measure alignment challenges. Future meetings are scheduled for 2-4pm, Aug 31st, Oct 26th and Dec 28st, at 2-4pm. The Data Infrastructure workgroup will meet Aug 4th from 3-5pm to review available data collection and reporting options and challenges. Future meetings will be scheduled at that time. The Site Operations workgroup will meet in late August to review the suggested measures and plan for collection at participating sites. All meetings are held at the MMA in Manchester and by webinar.
