QC 2012:  Partnering with Patients: Finding the Bright Spots to Transform Care

 

A crowd of 500 people from around the State of Maine gathered at the Civic Center on April 4th to hear four dynamic keynote speakers; Dr. Jessie Gruman from the Center for Advancing Health in Washington, DC; Drs. Jermome Groopman and Pamela Hartzband from Harvard Medical School and Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston; and Regina Holliday, a patient rights advocate and artist from Washington, DC.  Dozens of topical experts provided breakout sessions and roundtable discussions on topics ranging from Shared Decision Making to Health Equity and Patient Engagement to Using HIT to Strengthen Patient and Provider Relationships.
